One reason our oldest kids were upset when we moved to St. George from Amarillo was the lack of snow in St. George.

Bumping this up because life changes are going on still

On 23 June, Scruffypup married his sweetheart in Payson Temple for time and all eternity. We were all there and I had the honour of being one of the witnesses. They are currently in Rexburg as Mrs Scruffypup finishes her degree in the autumn as a nurse practitioner, and then they will move to either SLC or Orem.

We had a wonderful trip to Utah, visiting SLC, Provo, St George, Spanish Fork, American Fork, Lindon, Moab, and South Jordan. Now that Scruffypup is living there, we will be back for holidays. We loved it in Utah! Temple Square was amazing, and we loved the Payson Temple. Nice to get to a temple other than our home one!

Scruffydog, next time you come this way, please let me know.  I'd love to meet up with you!  I live in Sanatquin--6 miles from the Payson temple.  Y'all definitely need to come for dinner!  Oh, and congratulations to Scruffypup and Scruffybride.  My son and his wife got married in the Payson temple about a year ago.  I really love the design themes carried throughout all the colors and patterns--from the stained glass to the etching in the carpets.

It's a lovely temple, though it will be lovelier when the trees are more mature and provide a little shade! The temple is special to Scruffypup and Mrs Scruffypup because they met as missionaries, and they both worked during the open house for Payson.

I'd love to meet up, so next time we're coming over, I'll let you know we'll be around. We now have more incentive to save up to go Stateside since Scruffypup is now an American resident
