Crowgirl, I know you will be giving compassion to all of your loved ones as you grieve and hope together. I'll be praying for an added measure of strength for you. Hang in there!

Thank you, everyone, for your prayers.  He is home, feels great, and can even go back to work.  We are all so intensely grateful.  Thank you.

My uncle Abe is not doing well. There's a very long story here involving medical neglect, but the short version is that he now has gangrene in one of his feet, and the doctor has told him he may lose it. Please pray for him and, if you can, please put his name on the temple prayer rolls.

They’re going to remove his foot next week. He already can’t walk and is in rehab for that.

I would love it if he got a miracle and kept his foot. I don’t know what God’s will is, but please pray for him.

I am really sorry that he has to go through this, especially since there is medical neglect involved. Our prayers are for his quick physical and mental recovery after the amputation.

Oh, no. I am sorry to hear about this, & hope the surgery will be uneventful & he will have a smooth recovery. Uncle Abe will be in my prayers.

Also grateful to hear that Paul is doing better & making progress back to normal living.

My friends Kevin & Dee are doing so-so. They'll always have chronic health issues, & they get into "moods" regarding the Church & people. They are pretty much raising their grandson from their daughter. She never married the boy's father, who is not in his child's life. They will accept help now & then, but at times they don't want people to reach out to them so all we can offer is our prayers.

Thank you all for your prayers.

Abe doesn't need an amputation after all. The doc put it off with a wait and see after all, did a bone scan, and said he's healing. I suppose he'll still need surgery or something to remove the gangrene, but it didn't penetrate enough as things turn out. He's still in the hospital, still on antibiotics, but he's getting better.

SO incredibly grateful for your prayers. SO grateful.
