Please pray for my uncle, Abe Giesbrecht. He has had some health problems recently and could use all sorts of prayers right now, as could my aunt Jane.

Thank you all.

I want to thank you all for your prayers. It has been a particularly hard time for me and still is. I finally have an appointment with the neurologist on Monday. Your prayers have sustained me.

Thank you all for the prayers.

My uncle is fine. He was hospitalized twice on my aunt and uncle's two week trip to Europe, so they got just about zero vacation out of it and they weren't able to meet up with Fahim and I, but they are home and back to normal, which we're all grateful for.

Well, I just heard from my Jane. There is a HUGE mess in her family, the details of which require prayers prayers and more prayers.
Both her SIL and FIL are in the bedridden in New York.

It might even affect my visit to the ranch in October....and my tickets are non refundable. I  need to not worry to death about this.

Any prayer power from Nauvoo would be much much appreciated.
Thank you

Would you please pray for my DiL and the baby she is carrying? The baby is due the end of January but will be delivered this Wednesday. Sarah (DiL) has developed Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy. Basically, it means that her liver is not cleaning the bile acids out from the baby's system and could lead to the baby being stillborn.
Thank you.

Months back, I requested prayers for me. Thank you all for them. I was hearing voices, extreme loss of cognitive ability, extreme loss of balance and my essential tremors became so bad, I could barely eat with a spoon. At the time, we didn't know what was causing all these things. I thought and it was later confirmed it was caused by a drug I had been prescribed. I believe it was through the prayers offered in my behalf that I am okay now. Thank you.

If you ever experience even mild symptoms that are unusual (my DiL's symptoms: itching) - talk to your doctor and be insistent. I went through 6 months of hell because I wasn't insistent and blunt enough about what I was experiencing.

Thank you for the prayers and I will let you know about the baby when she is born.

The doctor just called and said that the baby couldn't wait. She needs to come into our world today.

So here I am, hands hanging down.  Yes, part of this is the everlasting grey gloom that passes for winter here, but I still am carrying the burden of things lost this year and really am having a tough time. Insomnia, impatience, ennui.  I still am active and doing but feel very little joy.
Aside from the deaths this year,  increased loss of hearing and mobility are trying my patience,  but the worst if you can feature this, is the loss of my ward.  My stupid, cranky, beloved, irritating, shrinking, elderly, ward. Who knew it would be like a thousand little funerals? I have faithfully attended the new ward, it is very much a young family ward with lots of noisy kiddos.  People are friendly. But it is not easy for me to hear...and I am without any calling or assignment...for the first time since I was 26.  Tithing settlement was mostly the bishop getting to know Andries.  He asked me nothing about myself. I feel transparent, invisible. Sunday was again tough to listen because it is so noisy. I wondered if I should just do home study.  But I am covenanted to have my butt in the pew.  So I need your support my internet ward, so that I can get some inspiration. Because this is NOT going to work for the rest of my life....Where has the Spirit gone?
