Trump "fact" sheet ?
« on: October 20, 2020, 12:20:02 am »
I was wondering if there exist and if not, could one be easily created that has in two columns all the pros of Trump from the Trump supporters and all the cons from the Trump dislikers?

I know many of the items might not be actual facts but opinions and views, but it would be interesting to compare those, the issues and the scales of little things to huge etc.

If you know of such, please give a link.

Here is a fairly recent one:

And an older one:

If you do a search for "Trump pros and cons" it will bring up many more.

Thanks, but those aren't really what I meant, more like

"Don't vote for Trump beacause he has said these xxx hurtful things"  from those opposing him

versus

"Vote for Trump because he isn't afraid to say what he thinks" from those wanting him

"Don't vote for him because he doesn't support welfare plans that would help everyone"  vs "vote for him because he has done so much good to boost our economy thus giving more wealth to everyone"

Cook, I'm confused.  You titled this thead as a fact sheet, then listed four opinion statements as example.  Which do you want?

The word fact is between quotation marks. My understanding is that in English also that conveys the idea of meaning opposite. I mean pros that the supporters think as facts and cons that the opposers think as facts even if they have no factual bases (or they may have and actually be facts, but looked also within certain biased view on things).

Comparing the two groups af opinions above, the real difference us whether the author embraces democratic principles and moderation (anti-Trump) or extremism and thinly veiled racism (pro-Trump).
