Hick got a job!!!
« on: September 16, 2020, 10:20:15 am »
Hick has been unemployed since the beginning of the covid-19 pandemic. He was the head landscaper at a large hotel in downtown Albuquerque. During the last year the hotel was sold to a new hospitality corporation and a new general manager was put into place. The new GM told  Hick that the company did not use landscapers but rather contracted out for that segment of the operation and proceeded to  make Hick's life progressively miserable. When the pandemic 'hit' the GM had an excuse to fire Hick.

Hick has been on so many interviews, and was afraid that he would not get a job because of his age (61). Last Friday (the 11th) Hick went to a landscaping drive by interview, handed them his resume and copies of vital information and was scheduled for a drug test that afternoon! Of course the test came out clean when the results were ready on Monday, so after a quick phone call Monday afternoon, he was scheduled for orientation on Tuesday morning and has been off to work first thing this morning!!!! His official title is landscape construction. It is full time work that pays every week!

His official title is landscape construction.
I wonder if that was Adam's official title, too.
