This is one of the blessings of covid-19. We have weekly Stake Sunday meeting broadcasted on youtube live every Sunday. A few weeks back my son had a chance to give a talk. It was a great way not only to invite all less active friends to attend, but also less active and active friends in other countries all over the world. Tomorrow I will attend a fireside by the mission I served in. Maybe I see someone I know. It would be actually cool to have more information on how to attend other meetings too, like of those Wards one served mission on...

Our ward has been doing...nothing. Every month or so, they send out a reminder to contact those you are assigned to minister. Once we as a group were sent a general email from the bishop. That's it. But honestly, I'm okay with this. There are so many online resources from the Church and BYUtv, and I still have prayer and scriptures. I've had enough chronic illness that it's not unusual for me to miss 4-6 weeks of Church at a time because I'm just that sick.

It kind of bugs me that I don't miss going to church at all.  YIKES!

I do miss going to the temple, and I really enjoy taking the sacrament around to the old folks and visiting with them.  I enjoy visiting personally with ward members, who live very close because I'm in Utah.  I find it beyond beautiful how all the ward members seem to be helping eachother out, all on their own volition.  It's kind of beautiful to see.

General conference wasn't really that different for me.  I drove to a park or up on the mountain and enjoyed listening to it on the radio like I always do.

The Church is still true. We endure and press on.
No truer words. I hope you can find an online resource.  Our stake is MIA but two stakes here are broadcasting every Sunday talks and music. I find it very comforting.  The Stake I usually listen to does two versions so I am rejoicing in English language messages every Sunday. These are really well put together and produced from the Antwerp Belgium Stake which has wards in the Netherlands down south.

Scruffy, thank you for your kind idea.  I think it would be wonderful to hear other voices during the week. Since it has to be like a library in here during the day, no television and earphones are my lot.  Listening to Facebook Live sounds wonderful. so yes, please.

A brother  in our unit started a Private Facebook group for members.  There is not much traffic except for one brother who publishes big thoughts every day.  In Dutch.   Sometimes I read em but reading in Dutch is not fun.   Sunday at noon there is a facebook live sunday school class. but it is not smoothly interactive. I dunno why they don't use Zoom like technology.   But I listen because the teacher is one fine mind.
And it helps my Dutch listening skills.
